  Education is a fundamental right for every child. In the Third Part of the Indian Constitution,  Articles from 12 to 35 grant important fundamental rights to Indian citizens.  With the aim of education to all, Article 21 A was added by 86th amendment in the Indian Constitution.  According to this article, the state shall provide free and compulsory education to children between 6 and 14 years of age.  🎯 National Education Policy: This policy is formulated by the Government of India to promote and regulate the education system. 🎯 Three Policies after Independence:  The  first  National Policy on Education in  1968  was based on the report and recommendations of the  Kothari Commission(1964-1966).
